Question:

I want to edit my survey data in the view window without it reprocessing/updating back to the FieldBook. Then, I want to be able to reprocess my survey data back to the original data. How can this be done?

Answer:

If your survey comes from a data format other than a .txt file, then go to Explorer > Survey > Survey Data and right click on the model name and click Deactivate Survey Processing Rules. Now you can edit your points in the view window. When you want to revert back to the Fieldbook data right click on the model again and click Activate Survey Processing Rules.
