ProjectWise CEL is now a fully released feature, and is ready for use in production environments. Bentley recommends using ProjectWise CEL in all new configurations in ProjectWise Cloud.

ProjectWise CEL Enhancements
- Four new filter lookup functions are now available: filterNotEquals, filterNotContains, filterIn, and filterNotIn
- Users from multiple user lists or groups can now be retrieved using built-in lookups
- Environment import and export using ProjectWise Administrator now includes CEL expressions in attributes and environment lookup definitions
- Data import and export using standalone ProjectWise Import and ProjectWise Export tools now includes CEL expressions in environment attributes, Work Area properties, and lookup definitions
- Breaking Change: Starting with this release, all values in WorkArea.properties are now stored as strings instead of matching data type of each Work Area property

Enhanced Security Mode
- ProjectWise Cloud now includes an option for administrators to enable Enhanced Security mode that eliminates the use of SQL APIs between ProjectWise client applications and the server, providing stronger data protection, reduced risk of unauthorized access, and better industry standard alignment

- New methods for producing ProjectWise document and folder URLs
- User-defined version expressions are now enabled by default; ProjectWise Administrators who need to configure WRE rules will require ProjectWise Administrator v. 2024.0.3 or higher

- Extended ProjectWise Administrator - ProjectWise Design Integration Server Compatibility
- ProjectWise Administrator will only show a warning message when your version is partially compatible with ProjectWise Design Integration Server, and you will still be able to connect. There is no warning simply when the version numbers are different. If your version of ProjectWise Administrator is incompatible, you will not be able to log in.

- Fixed: When editing user settings in Connect editions of ProjectWise Explorer, although the settings are indeed saved, an error message appears stating otherwise.
- Known issues:
- When loading the 'Users' list in ProjectWise Administrator, there is a delay. To reduce this delay, the Last login date column can be removed. See Known Issues - Remove Last Login Date.
23.02 - August 10, 2023
- Text, thumbnail and file property extraction is improved for various file types, including PDFs
- Known issues:
- When editing user settings in Connect editions of ProjectWise Explorer the settings are saved but a false error message is shown to the user about a failure to save settings.
- After a server upgrade to 23.02, users of PWDI Administrator 23.01 will receive a message about incompatibility with the server version. Regardless of this message 23.01 ProjectWise Administrator is fully compatible with 23.02 server.
