Question:

I need to delete some Source Features from my terrain that was created from a TIN/DTM file. When I use the Terrain > Edit > Feature Management > Remove Features command it tells me, "Element not valid for tool," and I cannot delete it. I need to remove these features so that when I export back to TIN/DTM it saves any changes.

Answer:

Use the Delete Feature command within the Terrain > Edit > Edit Model tools instead. Use the Remove Features command when the Terrain has been created From Elements.
