Problem
The Bentley Licensing Tool will show, on the Entitlements tab, that the access to the product entitlement will expire in 7 days, even though the user is logged in to the CONNECTION Client and the contract term ends much later.
Solution
In the Bentley Licensing Tool, the date on which the affected user must log in again into the CONNECTION Client is always displayed. You must log in at least every 7 days.
This is intended behavior. Subscription Entitlement Service requires that the user signs in to validate the entitlement. The maximum time that the product may be used without signing in is 7 days. Each time the user signs in, this date will be extended by 7 days.
The exception is only when you work with a checked out license. Then the expiration date of the checkout is decisive.
