Question:

How do I reverse the direction of the horizontal geometry stationing?

Answer:

Since the version 2018R4 (10.05.00.30) the command 'Transpose Element' has been added under OpenRoads Modeling / Geometry / Horizontal / Modify > Transpose Element

To reverse this direction, follow the steps below:

• Click on Transpose Element
• Select the Complex Element(s)
• Right-click / Reset to validate you choice and Accept

To reverse this direction, follow the steps below:

• Drop the complex element. Go to the Drawing Workflow, then Home > Groups > Drop.
  
   
  
  
• Select Complex By Elements to re-complex the horizontal geometry. Go to the OpenRoads Modeling Workflow, then Geometry > Horizontal > Complex By Element.
  
  
  
  
• When locating the first element of the horizontal geometry, make sure the alignment direction, indicated by the arrow, is pointing in the desired direction. Also, make sure that you select the correct feature definition in the Create Complex Element dialog box.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Select the rest of the elements in order.
  
  

The resulting alignment will be stationed in the desired direction (in this case, east to west).
