Cannot download software from Bentley Fulfillment document

Problem Description

When you buy our software without SELECT contract or after SELECT contract is canceled we provide Bentley Fulfillment Document. Please consult this PDF document, in order to get instructions on how to obtain Bentley product(s) and license(s).

However in some cases it is not possible to download software by clicking on “Download” link in Bentley Fulfillment Document.

After pressing the download link and accepting ”Bentley Web Properties Legal Terms of Use” each time you will be returned to the first page from where you started and it is not possible to download the software.

Steps to Resolve

The download process is being blocked due security in your environment. Your system is denying the pop up that should appear at the bottom of the page.

Here is a list of the most common security settings that may need to be adjusted:

  1. Pop up blocker may be blocking the save as dialog box
  2. Anti-virus software may be preventing the download
  3. Internet security level may be set too high in the browser
  4. Add Bentley.com as a trusted site in browser settings
  5. Must be able to download files that have .exe extensions  
  6. Port 21 (standard ftp port) must be open all the way through the firewall

We recommend also trying another web browser (Firefox/chrome/IE) or trying on another machine in the office.
