Error Creating File when I save/export to DWG


I get an error message when I save/export a model to DWG.

Error message:

Error creating file [filepath]

Solution

This error is standard when the DWG seed file location in pointing to a non-existing seed.dwg file. To solve it do the following:

  1. Go to Options in the Export File dialog
  2. Go to general tab and change the DWG Seed File
  3. Select a valid seed file.
  4. If not specified by your organization, you can use the one delivered by default [C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition\OpenRoadsDesigner\Default\Seed]
