This video demonstrates the ability to downgrade DGN files containing newer civil data to be compatible with older versions of the same product. When opening a newer file in an older version, a dialog box with a 'Newer Civil Data Found' message will pop up, and you have the option to open the file as ReadOnly. With the 10.09 update, you can now downgrade DGN and DGNLIB files so that they can be opened in an older version.
