Problem:

When printing my cross sections to PDF, some of the existing ground dashed line is plotting as a solid line.

Solution:

Option 1.) Create a selection set of all cross section named boundary elements and change the "Back Depth" value under "Clip Properties" = -0.001.

Option 2.)

a.) Download the "SetXSClipDepth.dll" and "SetXSClipDepth.cfg" file here.

b.) Place the "SetXSClipDepth.dll" file in a folder on the machine.

c.)  Edit the "SetXSClipDepth.cfg"  file to point to the correct folder where the DLL was placed.

d.) Place the "SetXSClipDepth.cfg"  in the "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition\OpenRoadsDesigner\config\appl" folder (or otherwise include the cfg in the workspace)

e.) Open the DGN containing the cross section named boundaries, and switch to the 3D model.

f.) In the key-in window, type SetXSClipDepth Back -0.001
