Question:

I cannot get the north arrow  to orient true north automatically, with respect to each rotated plan sheet. What is the workflow to get the north arrow to auto-rotate?

Answer:

In order for the north arrow cell to auto-rotate, you must make sure that the cell type is set to graphic. It will not auto-rotate if the cell type is set to point.
