Creating Components
Navigate to the Catalogs components page by double clicking the catalog or by selecting the menu button and click “View Components”

Click the "Create Component" icon which launches the "Add to component(s) to catalog: dialog box.

 

Uploading Files
To begin the process click the upload button and select the Design File which will be used during the placement process in a design application

 
Select a File and click Open to select the file for upload.

Name and Properties
Type in a Name and select the appropriate properties to be assigned to the new component.

Tags
Further classify components by adding Tags to it which will be available during searches.

Finish the Process
Click Add to begin the upload process or Cancel to cancel the creation process.

Uploading Multiple Files
To upload multiple files use the <CTRL> or <Shift> keys to select multiple files from the Open dialog. You can always add more by clicking the “+” button.

Names are automatically created from the design files selected and can be edited in the Admin portal. All other properties can individually set and will apply for all uploaded components in this upload session.

Notifications
Notification is provided once the component has been uploaded and the conversion process has begun. The component will be available shortly.

Viewing Web Jobs
After uploading component(s) a web job will start. The Jobs icon will highlight the number of jobs in the queue that are actively running. To see their status click on the icon to launch the Job Management page.

You can see the status of the currently running jobs and information about what is being uploaded, who initiated the job and other information.

You can always go to the Job Management page to review past jobs even if the icon is not highlighted. Simply click Job Management.
