Explanation

Some versions of the Virtual Delivery Agent included with Citrix appear to conflict with the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime we now utilize in CONNECTION Client for the sign-in page.

How to Avoid

Option 1 Disable Citrix API Hooks for Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime

Please refer to the following Citrix technical article, and implement the following registry changes as a troubleshooting measure:

REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\CtxHook /v ExcludedImageNames /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d msedgewebview2.exe /f
REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\CtxHook /v ExcludedImageNames /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d msedgewebview2.exe /f
REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\CtxHook64 /v ExcludedImageNames /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d msedgewebview2.exe /f

Option 2 Downgrade CONNECTION Client to 11.00.01.109 or earlier

Downgrade CONNECTION Client to 11.00.01.109 or earlier which utilizes Internet Explorer instead of Microsoft Edge and consequently never use the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
