Question:
How can a template be copied from either a Template Library (*.itl) or Roadway Designer (*.ird) into a different Template Library?
For example, a template has been edited in Roadway Designer, and the user needs to copy this template into a Template Library.

Answer:
Templates can be copied from ITL to ITL or from IRD to ITL using the Template Library Organizer.
- Begin by opening the Template Library (*.itl) that you wish to copy the template into.
- In the Inroads Explorer, go to Modeler > Create Template.
- In the Create Template dialog, select Tools > Template Library Organizer.
- Open the IRD or ITL that you wish to copy the template from by selecting the browse button on the Template LIbrary Organizer:

- In the Open Template Library dialog, set the Files of type to either "Template Library (*.itl) or "Roadway Design (*.ird)" and select the file that contains the template you wish to copy. Click Open.

- On the left-hand pane, navigate to the folder in the template library that you wish to copy the template into.

- On the right-hand pane, highlight the template you wish to copy. Drag and drop this template into the desired folder on the left-hand pane.
