We are rolling out a new reporting framework starting July 1st to make your experience faster. While some parts of the reports will look a bit different, they will mainly work the same. You can learn more about the changes here.

Purpose

This report allows you to see who is using your Activation Keys to authorize Bentley product activations.

Roles

Users with at least one of the following roles are able to access the report: 

• Admins
• Co-Admins

Access

1. Go to the Subscription Analytics
2. Click on the Activation Key Audit

 

Filters

Name	Description
Country	Entitlement Country
Date Range	Custom date ranges
Product	Product with ProductID
Feature String	Feature String
Machine	Machine Name
Activation Key	Activation Key that the Bentley product was authenticated with
Allocation Group	Allocation Group

Layout - KPIs

The top left quadrant of the page has four key performance indicators.

Name	Description
Machines	Number of individual machines that have activated at least one Bentley product
Emails	Number of IMS Users that have activated at least one Bentley product
Keys	Number of Activation Keys that have been used to activate at least one Bentley product
Applications	Number of Bentley applications that have been activated at least once

Layout - Country Assignments

Every Activation Key is associated with a specific Entitlement country. This lists every Activation Key, that has been used at least once within the specified Date Range, and the Entitlement country it is assigned to. This is equivalent to the Usage Country for non-SES usage.

Layout - Custom Chart - Select the Axis below

A custom horizontal bar chart which displays the number of machines and allows you to choose the X-axis dimension. The default selection is Activation Key. Other options include Allocation Group, Country, Product, and Usage Date. Some of these dimensions will have many values, so it is recommended to use the filters available in the Selections box to create a chart that helps you.

Layout - Activation Key Details

Details on the actual usage of the Activation Keys, including which product was activated and by who.

Country	Entitlement Country
Product (Feature String)	Product and Feature String
Machine	Machine name
User	Windows NT User name
Email	IMS User's email address, if the user was logged in
Activation Key	Activation Key
Usage Type	Usage Type. Ex., Production, Trial
Days Used	Number of days this row applies to within the selected Date Range
Last Usage	The last time this activation key was used for this Application, Machine, User, and Email
