Entitlement Exceptions


Purpose

Entitlement Management allows you to set a default product entitlement. These can then be overridden at multiple levels - by Country, Product, Entitlement Group, and User. These are also known as Exceptions. This report allows admins and co-admins to easily view all of their Entitlement Exceptions in one location.

Roles

Users with at least one of the following roles are able to access the report: 

Access

  1. Go to the Subscription Analytics
  2. Click on the Entitlement Exception

Filters

The filters in this report are located within the table. They all allow you to toggle between options such as "Contains", "Does not contain", etc. All filters may be removed at once by clicking on the icon of a funnel with a slash through it on the right-hand side of the table

Layout - Entitlement Exceptions

A summary of the number of User Exceptions and Group Exceptions that have been given for each Application across all Entitlement Countries. Click on any column header to sort the grid by values in that column. Click on the Application name to view a detailed list of the Exceptions for that Application.

User Exceptions - Granted

The number of individual users that have been given a Granted Exception to the application. This does not count users that are in an Entitlement Group that has been Granted.

User Exceptions - Blocked

The number of individual users that have been given a Blocked Exception to the application. This does not count users that are in an Entitlement Group that has been Blocked.

Group Exceptions - Granted

The number of Entitlement Groups that have been given a Granted Exception to the application.

Group Exceptions - Blocked

The number of Entitlement Groups that have been given a Blocked Exception to the application.


Users & Groups Exceptions

This page may be accessed by clicking the Application name in the landing page. It lists the details of the Exceptions for a specific Application. To return to the original landing page, click on the Entitlement Exceptions text in the blue header.

Layout - Country Exceptions

If an Entitlement Country has an Exception, it will be listed here. Click on the Country name to go directly to Entitlement Management.

Layout - Exceptions

There is a grid for both Users and Entitlement Groups. If either a User or Group have been given an Exception, they will be listed here with their Email (for Users) and Entitlement Group (for Groups). Users that inherit an Exception from their Entitlement Group are not listed underneath the Users tab unless they have been given an explicit Exception in addition to what they inherited from the Group. Click on the Country name to go directly to Entitlement Management.
