Entitlement Management Landing Page
Server products intended to be deployed in a managed environment or on a machine within an organization's network need to be able to run without a user from the organization constantly signed in to CONNECTION Client. To facilitate secure entitlements in these cases, server products are entitled through a unique access key that is generated for a machine when the server product is installed. This access key serves as a secure, long-term token with which the Licensing service can make requests to the Subscription Entitlement Services. Entitlement Management allows Administrators or Co-Administrators to generate and delete Server Access Keys.
Navigate to Access Keys for Server Products.
This page lists all of the active and inactive Server Product Access Keys.
Fields:
Description: Plain text description of what the key is being used for
Machine Name: The machine name the key is being used for
State: Indicates if key is active or not
Access Key: The actual access key
Expiration Date: When the key expires
Query Across Ultimates: This means the key can be used by multiple accounts
Requesting User: Who generated the key
Edit: Used to edit any of the above, except Machine Name
Click the green 'Generate Server Key' button to create a new key.
The Machine Name is the name of the server machine that the product will be running on.
When the Expiration Date is reached, the product will automatically fail to authenticate.
Your email address will be listed for the key's Requesting User value.
Any Admin or Co-Admin may edit a key created by another user. To edit an existing Access Key, click on the ellipses at the end of the row and click Edit Access Key. You will be able to edit the description, status, and expiration date. The key itself and the machine cannot be changed.
Any Admin or Co-Admin may delete a key created by another user. To delete an Access Key, check the checkbox next to the access key and click the Delete Access Keys button on the top left of the list.
