Question:

When rotating the view in some places the screen becomes black or hides the graphic. How do I overcome this issue?

Answer:

This behavior happens usually when the element is outside the project extent. To overcome this problem try opening the “categories and models” dialog and setting the .3sm as “project location”. This will modify the project extent to contain the full extent of the terrain.
