How to check the number of purchased licenses?

The number of licenses can be checked in the Entitlement/License Management portal.

NOTE:

Only Account Administrators and Co-Administrators have access to the Entitlement/License Management portal. If you want to find out about who your account administrators are, please take the steps described here: How to find your Administrator

To display the whole licensing portfolio, which includes the licenses you purchased, perform the following steps:

  1. Access the Entitlement/License Management portal:

    • Navigate to the CONNECT Center.

    • Select the icon with your account name.

CONNECT Center - your company name

    • Select the "Entitlement/License Management" tile from the Resources section.

  2. On the home page of the Entitlement/License Management page, click the tile that corresponds to your current subscription - it can be, for example: SELECT, SELECT Open Access, e365 (for enterprise subscriptions).

    NOTES:

    - If you do not have an active subscription (e.g. SELECT Open Access, e365), you will see a "No Subscription" tile and clicking it will not show any licensing portfolio. Instead, it will move you to the Machine Registration page, on which you will see your licences (node locks) and their machine assignments.

For more information, see: non-SELECT Announcement and FAQs and Machine Registration for non-SELECT accounts.

    - The Expiration Date includes a 60-day grace period, which is added to the actual contract expiration date. This allows you to use the purchased licenses in a situation where you did not renew the contract before its expiration date. For E365 contracts, an additional two years are added to the contract end date.

Date format used for the Expiration Date is: MM/DD/YY - month/day/year, e.g. 03/26/2022.

  3. An alternative way of accessing the licensing portfolio is from the side navigation - select Settings > Access and Alerting:

Selecting Access and Alerting from the side navigation

  4. If your account has an enterprise agreement/subscription, the Entitlement/License Management page will show an "e365" tile and the "Global" entitlements:

The licences/entitlements will always be listed in the "Global" entitlements and will always show "Unlimited" quantity. The page will also show additional entitlement countries in the Entitlements drop-down button, usually at least the country in which you purchased the licenses. Your account can also have multiple other entitlement countries.

Your account will either list no licences for specific entitlement countries, or will list only some specific licenses. Those were usually not included in the enterprise agreement (and not showing in the "Global" entitlements) and were purchased specifically to be used in the corresponding entitlement country.

  1. If you purchased Practitioner Licenses from Bentley's eStore, you will also see a "Practitioner" tile. To check the number of Practitioner licenses, you will need to click that tile.

  2. A table with applications will appear. Click the "Covered Quantity" header text to sort the list by covered quantity. When sorting in descending order (arrow points down), all the applications you purchased will be listed one below each other.

  3. The number in the "Covered Quantity" column represents the number of licensees you purchased.

NOTE:

Applications listed in the Entitlement/License Management with the "Unlimited" quantity are provided either from the Open Access contract or are included in the licenses you purchased. Those applications can be accessed with unrestricted access, yet may trigger Term License(s). For more information, see: SELECT Open Access. The exception is if your account has an e365 agreement, in which case all the licences will always show the "Unlimited" quantity for the "Global" entitlement country.
