Supported Encryption

If using HTTPS to communicate with our hosted SELECTserver (i.e. selectserver.bentley.com) ensure .NET Framework is configured to permit use of TLS 1.2. The following commands derived from a Microsoft technical article can be executed from an Administrator Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell console to enable it:

• Internet Information Services (with ASP.NET support)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (SELECTserver 08.xx.xx.xxx only)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.x (SELECTserver 09.00.00.xxx only)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or 4.6 (SELECTserver 09.01.00.xx only)

Software Prerequisites - SELECTserver Gateway requires:

Version 09.01.00.xx

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or 4.6

Version 09.00.00.xxx

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
• MSXML 6.0

Note:  The current SELECTserver Gateway installer does "NOT" put these prerequisites in place. Please ensure their presence before installation.
