License Client 11.0.16.x changes
- In Checkouts tab of Bentley Licensing Tool, recently used products are listed first.
- Added "remove" button ( ) to the entitlement entries in the Entitlements tab of Bentley Licensing Tool.
- Intended for use for product entitlements previously used, but not expected to be used again. If the product is run again at a later time, the entitlement will be added back to the list.
Note: CONNECTION Client 11.00.05.42 was previously posted and pulled down because of an issue found with executing product updates in that version of CONNECTION client. If you downloaded that version and experience an issue with further updates, please download 11.0.5.43 from Software Downloads and run the installer manually. License Client 11.0.15.31 changes
- License Service Fail-Safe mode
In case of extended, Bentley system-wide downtime of SES services, or any of its supporting services such as IMS, which might affect end-user's ability to run the product, Bentley can enable License Service FailSafe (LSFS) mode. All clients from this version forward, will respond by allowing users into their products regardless of entitlement status. Usage will be recorded with a special status that will allow us to not process the usage for peak usage calculations.

- Fix for issue where product status could be returned incorrectly if multiple versions have been previously run and they had different statuses. Was affecting products that called GetStatus directly after a StartLicense call.
- Products started in no-GUI mode will now check the Alerting service, if configured. If Alerting service indicates an alert is required, the default choice will be chosen which is to Cancel the start and not risk generating a term license.

- previous releases required the machine to be online to complete this import. This release removes that requirement.
- this did require a format change to the checked-out license file, so files generated from the Entitlement Management site before this fix will not import to this new version. A new checked-out license file would need to be generated.
