Question:

I've exported surfaces to xml in civil3D; how I can bring them into OpenRoads?

Answer:

To import this data, use the Create Terrain From File command. In OpenRoads Designer, the tool can be found under the OpenRoads Modeling Workflow>Terrain Tab>Create>From File

After invoking the command, navigate to the directory where the xml is stored and select it. We can also filter by file type as seen below.
