Question:

In ORD CE Release 2 (10.12.01.59), In Manage Annotations, the Import & Export icons (features) that used to be at the top of the menu are now gone (missing, when previous version had them located there). Why are they now missing?

  

Answer:

In order for the icons to display, set CIVIL_ANNOTATIONS_IMPORTEXPORT_VISIBLE = 1 then reload the workspace configuration and the icons should appear.

This configuration variable should only be used in the creation of dgnlib files. It should not be used with dgn files that already contain data and annotations.
