I need help understanding the items within the Place Named Boundary Civil Profile dialog box.

Answer:

LENGTH - The maximum width or length of your profile is calculated from the width of the port within the sheet seed dgnlib sheet model. Take that length and multiply it by the detail scale to give you the maximum length.
