Step 1: Look and see if the arrow you need is already in OpenRoad SignCAD.
a. There are several pre-made Circular Intersection Directional Arrows available from the Place>Templates>Templates Manager>U.S. 2009 as shown below:
b. If you are looking for the R3-8 arrows and signs, those can be found in Panels>Standard Signs>U.S. 2009 by typing R3-8 in the Code field. The U.S. 2004, Minnesota and Texas sign libraries also have several R3-8 signs available.
Step 2: Find an arrow similar to the one that you want, select the arrow and use the Export Selected to DGN option.
Step 3: Open the DGN file with the arrow in OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation and edit the arrow.
Step 4: Import the DGN with the edited arrow into OpenRoads SignCAD and place it in your sign.
