Introduction:  The instructions and video below show how-to create a D1-5 circular intersection diagrammatic sign in OpenRoads SignCAD.

Step 1: Import the circular intersection arrows from the U.S. 2009 Templates (Place>Templates>Templates Manager). Keep the arrow shown below and delete the rest.

Step 2: Create three separate panels using the Rectangular Panel tool. Add the arrow to the middle panel.

Step 3: Place the route markers.

Step 4: Place the text.

Step 5: Add the route markers and text to the panels.

Step 6: Adjust the object spacing and alignment in the Multiple Objects Properties and Text Properties.

Step 7: Join the panels together to create the multi-panel. Select one of the panels and pick the Edit MultiPanel option to add an Identifier, Lock Arrangement and Dimension as Unit.

Step 8: Save the file.
