Question:

This is an issue that has come across our support team.

"When I'm in the drawing and using the place line tool most times if I draw a straight line going down the line will become highlighted and indicate if it is perpendicular. I have noticed that when I use the accudraw tool and have turned it off that function ( of my line being highlighted and indicating a perpendicular line) goes away and there is not tool to bring it back. How do I get this function to come back?"

Answer:

Turning off Civil Accudraw does not automatically toggle on regular Accudraw. You must toggle accudraw back on. To do so, you can use the search or Home tab in the ribbon then hit the Toggle AccuDraw command.
