Question:
How do I create a debug file to troubleshoot my workspace configuration variables?
Answer:
- Create a copy of the ORD shortcut to your desktop. Typically it resides here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OpenRoads Designer\OpenRoads Designer
- Rename it "ORD Debug"

- Right click on the icon and select Properties.
- Go to the Shortcut tab. Within the Target text box add -debug to end. Hit OK.

- Double click on the ORD Debug executable and a msdebug.txt file is automatically generated
- The black Text Window tells you where this file is saved.
- The white msdebug.txt automatically opens
