Status Update


Getting started

In SYNCHRO Field, users can record Status Updates and sync updates back to SYNCHRO Control projects. 

To get started, review the following content: 

Status Update

NOTE: Currently available on SYNCHRO Field iOS only, coming to Android version soon.

Menu option "Status Update" will be visible when app user has tasks for given project. It then can be used to perform statusing. 

Tasks are listed for active user based on Resource Groups assigned to them. User is shown Tasks that have Resources assigned via their Resource Groups.

Tasks are filtered based on their planned start and planned finish dates. Default filter of "This week" will show tasks that are active ("planned") for any day in those 7 days.

Steps to update status - 

  1. From the More page click on the Models Icon at in the options.


  2. If this is the first time opening the Model in SYNCHRO Field, you will be required to Download the Model you want to access. If the Model is already downloaded and changes have been made in SYNCHRO 4D Pro you will be required to Update the Model.


  3. Once the model is downloaded or has been verified it is up to date, navigate to the MoreSection at the bottom of the screen and select Status Update.


  4. Once the status update open, users have the option of two views STATUS UPDATE or VIEWS.


  5. From the STATUS UPDATE view users can choose a predefined time period of tasks to be shown. At the top of the Task List choose All tasks and Filter task option will be displayed.


  6. Users also have the option to select saved views from the model form the VIEWS view.


  7. In the STATUS UPDATE view click on any of the tasks and this will isolate the associated 3D Resources with the task. 


  8. To view and update the Resource statuses assigned to the task, select the Update status under the task name.


  9. The names of Status Sets will be listed above the Resource Statuses.


    Note: More than one Resource Status can be assigned to a Task.
    Note:
    Only one Status Set from the same Status Category can be assigned to a given resource, but multiple resources are accessed via a TaskThis means that app will only show the relevant Status Set for a given set of resources in the task.

  10. Tap to select multiple 3D Objects, then select the Status required for the objects.


    Note: You can click the Item Selected button to clear your selection.

  11. Once all the statuses have been updated, users can Sync updates to Control project by going to More and click the Red Bubble with a number to sync back the server.
