- Any updates or changes made to the model in its original design software can be synced into the existing iModel in SYNCHRO. A new design file can be exported from the design software.
IMPORTANT: When saving the downloaded design file ensure it has the exact same name as the file it is replacing in the SYNCHRO Controls documents.
- Once the design file is downloaded it can be added to the SYNCHRO control documents by selecting New > Upload. Then navigate to the location of the downloaded design file.
- Or drag and drop the updated design file to the SYNCHRO Control folder location.
- This will pop up a Conflict Resolution Select Replace existing file and the updated file will replace the original file.
- The iModel can now be resynced to reflect the changes in the new design file. Go to Administration > Manage iModel. Then select the meatball menu option in the iModel container and select Connections.
- Select the checkbox beside the required connection then select This will update the iModel with the changes from the revised design file.
