Filter Organization Templates by Data Center
New functionality has been added when creating a new project using an organizational template which filters the list of organization templates displayed using the datacenter selected in the Project Information section.
Show All Roles for a User
In the Roles Manager (viewable by users with Administrative permissions) you are now able to view all of the roles for a user on the page in the Roles column.
Note: Drag the column to the desired width to view all of the roles if any are truncated.
Display Form Instances Assigned to a Role
On the Homepage the My Work section will now display forms assigned to a user's role as well as assigned to the user.
The My Work Summary section at the bottom of the homepage will also include forms assigned to a user's role as well as forms directly assigned to the user.
When clicking on the link from the summary section it will open the My Work grid filtered to include items assigned to a user as well as the user's role.

Updated iModel Viewer
An updated iModel viewer has been released providing a standardization of the tools in the iModel between SYNCHRO and ProjectWise 365 as well as improved performance when loading the iModel.
Viewing and Navigating a Model in Control
Also included in this version is a new Try it button to preview the next iteration of the viewer which will provide a more modernized interface with dockable and resizable tool controls.
Feel free to toggle between the two version and compare.
Helpful Hint: Many laptops have an integrated graphics card and a more powerful discrete graphics card. For best performance, it is recommended to always use the discrete graphics card.

Below are the features included in the latest SYNCHRO Control release.

Concurrent Approvals
In the workflow configuration, there is a new section in the transition model called Require Approvals. This allows the administrator to set up approvals from multiple stakeholders before a form can be progressed to the next step of the workflow. If multiple approvals has been set up for a transition, anyone trying to execute the transition who is not on the approver list will put the form into a locked "Under Review" state. Once all of the approvals have been met the form will be progress to the next status.

Show All Projects
New functionality now permits Administrators access to all projects, including ones that they are not assigned to. When an administrator clicks the All Projects button from the project page, a new All Projects tab has been added which lists all of the projects registered for the organization.
Import form from CSV
A new CSV import tool has been added allowing the ability to import existing form data into SYNCHRO from a CSV formatted spreadsheet.
Within each form grid the option has been added which provides a downloadable template file of the form type. This file can be used to fill in form data and import it into SYNCHRO.

Export of form grids
New for this release is the option to export form grids during the PDF export process.
Since the grid control is allowed to be used when designing a form, it is important that the data generated from those grids can be exported.
To give users access to their data, the export package will contain an Excel (xlsx) file that includes the grid entries. Each column in the grid would correspond to a column in the sheet and each line item would be included.

iModel view for Guest Access
SYNCHRO Control now has enabled model viewing in forms for users with Guest Access. Where previously the user had no access to view the models in forms assigned to them, now when the user clicks the model it will open in a model viewer to the left of the side panel.

Export SYNCRHO Forms to Fillable Forms
There is now an option in Control to export SYNCHRO Forms as fillable PDF forms. This will allow users to bring their own company PDF forms and export data from SYNCHRO directly to those for archiving and sharing with external parties.

Restrict Access to Forms
A new option has been added to forms that allows the creator or the reviewer to restrict access to the form to anyone other than the creator and assignees. For the user(s) that have visibility to these form instances, they will display to them in their list of forms just like any other form instance. For those users without access, these forms will not be visible.

Batch Export Forms to PDF
To facilitate archiving, Control has added the ability to export multiple forms to PDF as well as their attachments. The exported files can be downloaded as a zip file.
