Create forms in model view
SYNCRO Control has now add the ability to create forms while in Model view via the iModel viewer. This worklfow lets the user associate a form directly with an element in the model.

Cost is now Contracts
The Cost module in Control has been renamed to Contracts. Please note this is a change in name only and there have been no changes to the workflows or functionality users are accustomed to.

SYNCHRO Control now provides the option to add survey controls to your forms through the forms designer. A Survey control displays a survey question in the published form with a set of predefined responses for the user to select from.

The latest release of SYNCHRO Control includes the following features/improvements:
Changes to Name and Prefix fields
Users with administrator rights to manage forms can now edit the form definition Name and Prefix.
When you click on a form definition in the Forms Manager, the Name and Prefix fields, which were previously disabled, now appear in an editable state.
Note: The maximum length of the Name has also been expanded from 24 characters to 64.
Note: After a Prefix change, the form ID will revert to the default ID starting number. (Example: KVTR-00001) A change to the form Name will continue with the ID sequencing used prior to the name change. (KVTR-0001, …0002 etc.)
A new datacenter, located in the European Union, is now available when Registering a Project in SYNCHRO Control.

Improved My Work Widget
The My work widget on Homepage now has filters (My Work, My Role and Shared) to display items assigned to a user, a user's role, or, shared with the user. Along with the additional filters is more detailed information for each work item displayed.
Auto select time zone when creating project
Now when creating a new project, the time zone will default to the user's local time.
The Time zone field has also been made a required field as designated by the red asterisk shown in the image below.
Enterprise level project creation permission
A new permission has been made available which gives a user the ability to create a project without needing full administrative privileges. The Create New iTwin permission, when coupled with the Reprovision Project from a Template permission, allows administrators to assign project creation rights to a role without giving administrator privileges to that role.
These roles are set in the Enterprise Role Management section in the Connect portal.

Reality Data Management Portal
A new Reality Management portal has been added to manage your Reality Data associations for your project. This portal replaces the older Context Share portal which is being deprecated.
Deprecated - SharePoint Connections
SYNCHRO Control will no longer support SharePoint connections with the deprecation of the Context Share portal.
Administration panel relocation
The Administration panel has been relocated to the bottom left of the left navigation panel.
Pendo icon relocation
The Pendo icon has been moved from the bottom left side of the navigation panel to the top right side in the header next to the Profile icon. It also is included on the main projects page.
Media Indexing
You can now define access rights to Media Explorer in users’ role configurations. Only users with the ‘Enable media search’ permission will be able to access your project’s indexed data through Media Explorer. This can be enabled from under Administration> Manage your team> Roles> Documents.

Clickable Links
Clickable items in the Control interface can now be opened in a new tab in the browser.
Role Management
In the Administration > Roles management area, the number of users assigned to a role is now visible in the interface:
If you click on the link with the number of users, a dialog displays listing the users assigned to the role.
Form Grid View Icons
In the form grids (My Work, Issue, RFI etc.) new icons have replaced the drop down menu to switch views for the grid:

Also included in the iModel Viewer is the ability to Create, Run and View clash tests on the imodel.

Change in reprovisioning workflow
Now when reprovisioning a project, form definitions in the target project with a status set to Draft will now be overwritten if the name and properties match with the form definitions in the source project. This is a change from the previous workflow where form definitions that were in a Draft status were not overwritten.
Default Saved View
With the new default save view capability, users can now save a default view of the model that will be displayed every time they open the project. This feature allows users to quickly navigate to their preferred view and streamline their workflow, saving time and increasing productivity.
