Problem

When attempting to lay out or move an element such as a catchment while integrated with MicroStation CONNECT Edition, the program crashes with a window stating that "MicroStation has stopped working", then "MicroStation has detected a problem and logged it..."

       

Solution

This crash is due to a known issue (reference # 713438.) related to the Fill option, found in the versions listed above. To resolve the issue, upgrade to a newer version when available, or contact Technical Support for a patch for version 10.03.04.53 (storm/sewer) or 10.03.05.05 (water).

Also, a workaround is to open the MicroStation View Attributes and turn off the "Fill" option. Or, upgrade to a newer version when available.
