After running constraint based design with the GVF-Rational (StormCAD) or GVF-Convex (SewerCAD) solver, the roughness values in the selected catalog class (Mannings n, Darcy-Weisbach e, Hazen-Williams C) are not shown in the conduit properties and the following user notification appears:
"Catalog conduit shape or material is different from the shape or material of the selected catalog conduit or the catalog conduit selection is not updated after changing conduit shape."
This can happen if you have changed the roughness value in the conduit catalog after initially selecting it in the conduit properties. Currently during automated design, only the conduit size is selected and the original roughness value entered in the properties is used. This roughness value is taken from the respective entry in the Catalog Class from the Conduit Catalog when you initially selected the size in the conduit.
If you need to make a change to the roughness value after the initial selection of the catalog entry in the conduit, perform a global edit on the roughness field in the conduit flextable, in addition to the change in the conduit catalog.
