 Issue:

How is the Froude number is calculated for the conduits in terms of the position of the results, i.e., upstream data, downstream, normal, etc.

Background

There are two Froude Number results that are reported: "Froude Number (Normal)" and "Froude Number (Middle)".

"Froude Number (Normal)" is derived using normal depth, or critical depth in cases where the normal depth cannot be computed. It also uses the velocity computed at that flow depth.

"Froude Number (Middle)" uses the average depth between the endpoint depths, and uses the "Velocity (Middle)" value reported in the conduit properties.
