Problem

Are CulvertMaster, FlowMaster and PondPack compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 8?

Solution

As of the versions mentioned above, FlowMaster, CulvertMaster and PondPack support Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 8.X. These applications should work without a problem, and Bentley Technical Support will support a SELECT subscriber who runs into any issues with these operating systems. See more in the second article listed below.

Note that the Help and Readme included with the installation of some version numbers may not mention these as supported Operating Systems. This is because these operating systems were not available when these versions were released. Testing was done at a later point and as mentioned above, they should be expected to work without issue.

A note on .NET Framework 3.5

Although the .NET Framework 3.5 is used by these versions (see first article below), it will still work on Windows 11. .NET 3.5 is still supported by Microsoft until 2029. It is also included with Windows 11 as a feature but not turned on by default. During installation of these Bentley applications, they will attempt to enable it, but if that fails, the user can enable it via the Windows Control Panel.
