How can I report on the maximum velocity for each pipe, across all fireflow events? Meaning, a table of all pipes with their corresponding maximum across all fireflow events.
This can be accomplishing using the Pipe Renewal Planner tool. First, ensure the fireflow analysis is properly configured and that you are satisfied with the results (see guidance here).
In Pipe Renewal Planner under Predefined Aspect Options, set up Capacity Score Analysis Options. Uncheck all the options except Capacity. Set its weight to 1 and run.
In the Results section, go to the column "Raw Score (Capacity)" (the max velocity in each pipe) right click and choose Sort Descending. You will see then see results with the worst pipes at the top.
If you want to see these maximum velocities for a specific fireflow value (instead of at the available fireflow based on the pressure constraints), consider using the Flushing tool. The flushing tool keeps track of the maximum velocity per pipe, across a particular study and across all flushing events. See the pipe result field "Velocity (Maximum Flushing, Study)" under the property grid section "Results (Flushing Study)" and the field "Velocity (Maximum Flushing)" under the section "Results (Flushing all events)". These fields can also be added to the pipe Flextable and color coded upon, along with the field "Satisfies flushing target velocity?" See: Conducting Flushing Studies in WaterGEMS and WaterCAD
