Problem

Do the OpenFlows products use MSHTA.exe files or other files with a .HTA file extension? If so, what purpose does it serve?

Solution

Bentley uses a file called "manageExceptionLogs.hta", which sends crash telemetry to Bentley’s servers and manages the local log files. If needed, this file can be disabled. If it is, this would also disable crash telemetry. If there are errors generated when using the program, you would need to reach out to Bentley Technical Support for assistance with the error message.
