Problem

How can I speed up computing a model from which I need to extract elevations - it is taking a long time to process in TRex?

Solution

 Make sure you clip the file, so that it only covers the area that overlays your model. This should help to reduce the file size. To do this you'll need to make sure that the clipped file is in the same coordinate system as your model file. If you have one of our products with the integrated platform for MicroStation, AutoCAD, or ArcMap you should be able to accomplish this. If you're having trouble, we recommend speaking with your CAD or GIS professional.
