Problem
How do you set the SWMM Culvert Code when using the Explicit solver in SewerGEMS and CivilStorm?
If this is set incorrectly, user notifications like ""Culvert inlet coefficient assigned to this conduit has a SWMM Culvert Code which only applies to culvert of shape circle. The conduit has a shape of a box" or ""The SWMM Culvert Code applied to this Culvert Inlet Coefficient element is invalid. The value must be between 1 and 57."
Solution
The SWMM Culvert Code is used by the Explicit solver in culvert calculation. To set the SWMM Culvert Code, open the Culvert Catalog (in the Ribbon, Components > Catalog > Catalog > Culvert Catalog, or use the Ribbon search in the upper right-.
The SWMM Culvert Code is at the bottom of the dialog. Click the > button next to the field to choose from available options. Note that some Culvert Codes are specific to a certain shape.
