Problem

1. "No compatible I-model engine was found..."

When trying to publish a Hydraulics and Hydrology model to an i-model the following error appears.

"No compatible I-model engine was found. Please download and install the 'I-model Publishing Engine for Hydraulics and Hydrology' in order to continue."

Solution

Note: i-model export is no longer available as of version 10.04.XX.XX and later. See more here.

2. "Could not Publish i.dgn file"

When trying to publish i-model in 10.03.xx.xx version the following dialog appears saying - "Could not Publish i.dgn file"

Solution

Please make sure that you have installed both the "Prerequisites and i-model Engine" installation as highlighted below. –

If NOT, please install them in the following order -
1. Close all the applications
2. Install "Prerequisites for Bentley Desktop Applications (English) - Archive" using the "pbda08110706en" file.
3. After that install the "i-model Publishing Engine for Hydraulics and Hydrology Beta 1 (English) - Archive" using the "imeh08110704en" file.
4. Open a file and try to publish i model.

The prerequisites and i-model publishing engine must be installed before you can publish an i-model from Bentley Hydraulics and Hydrology products.
