Problem

How can I be alerted when a new version/update is available for my OpenFlows product?

Solution

Alerts on new releases can be delivered via our Blog or the CONNECTION Client. Details about new features and enhancements in a particular release can be found in this article.

Check the CONNECTION Client

The "Updates" section of the CONNECTION Client will show you if a newer version is available. You will need to be using version 10.XX.XX.XX or higher, with the CONNECTION Client open and signed in. You may also need to check if you have download permissions assigned to your Bentley account (see link above for details on downloading).

 

Check the Release Announcements Blog

New release announcements are posted on our Blog. From the OpenFlows Community homepage, click Release Announcements:

Announcements for the most recent releases will show at the tope. Click to view details.

Once you know that a new version is available, you can download it from the Software Download website. See: Downloading OpenFlows / Hydraulics and Hydrology Software

Note that you will need to have download permissions on your Bentley account in order to download software from the Software Download website.  Typically such permissions are granted to the designated Site Administrator of your organization, typically in your IT or Helpdesk department.
