Overview

WaterSight can integrate with ArcGIS, by bringing those layers to the Map page. The connection is done in WaterSight via Map Layers widget and once connected those ArcGIS layers are persisted between pages and sessions and it is also possible to check their properties. ArcGIS map and feature service connection is supported, including connection to ArcGIS online and ArcGIS Enterprise (on premise). While the ArcGIS online connection works "out of the box", no configuration is required from the client, the ArcGIS Enterprise requires few steps for the Map layers widget to communicate with ArcGIS Enterprise. These steps must be done by the ESRI Administrator, from the ArcGIS Enterprise portal.

In order to be able to use GIS data for the Capital Planning module, is still required to upload the shapefile layers in the Administration >> GIS section.
