MicroStation Object Model Hierarchy

The classes in the MicroStation Automation Object Model are shown below:

The classes that represent the graphic elements are not shown in this chart with the exception of the general Element class.

The VBA Editor contains an Object Browser for all classes and members including declarations for all functions and properties. From The VBA Editor use the menu View > “Object Browser” or use the F2 shortcut. By default the Object Browser shows the content of all referenced libraries. Select “MicroStationDGN” in the top drop down list:

Together with the shortcut F7 it allows a quick switch between the source code view (F7) and Object code Browser (F2).
