After setting up Classifications in Descartes, I tried to open the file in MicroStation SS3 and the Classifications don't seem to be functioning properly. I can see them on the list for "Presentation Style List", but MicroStation is not recognizing them. I have set my "PointCloud Presentation" to "Classification" in my view attributes, but none of the classifications are showing up. When I switch to Classification, I am getting the Elevation display. In Descartes is working like it should. Is there a setting I am missing?
The edited classification only displays in Descartes.
If you want to visualize the edited classification in MicroStation, you will need to create a new pod file from the one that has been edited. This will permanently apply the classification to the new point cloud file.
