Windows settings for numeric symbols can cause issues when running Hevacomp. This can manifest itself in the following error messages running the software:
The numerical format is defined in the Regional and Language options in your Windows settings. Please note that this document deals with Windows 7 but similar methods are available in Windows 8, Vista and XP.
Please ensure that these settings are exactly as in the above image, particularly:
Decimal symbol changed to: | . |
Digit grouping symbol changed to | , |
List separator changed to: | , |
Additionally, if customized clocks for differing time-zones have been enabled then these may need to be removed. Please check the settings for Additional Clocks, within the Date and Time menu, as below:
