Problem Description

Using View/Update or the Column Design Report on a steel gravity column with net tension (typically due to the back-span uplift of a cantilever beam) causes a crash in the RAM Steel Column module.

Work Around

Add a small amount of load to prevent the tension or check the column as a lateral column in RAM Frame - Steel Standard Provisions mode.
