Once you have accessed the Inspections page, click the New button to create a new Inspection.
A "New Inspection" panel appears allowing you to select the Inspection Type and the Form name.
Type: Select iTwin Experience Inspections. This field is mandatory.
Form name: Select Remote Inspection. As soon as you select the form name, the dialog is expanded, allowing you to enter other details. This field is mandatory.
If you want to create your custom form for your specific workflow, please refer to Form Configuration page.
Default Reality Data: Select the Reality Data from which defects will be observed and documented.
Assigned to: Select a person or role type to whom the inspection will be assigned. All assigned people will receive a notification email indicating they've been assigned to an inspection.
Inspection date: Select the date when the inspection is due. By default the current date is selected. This field is mandatory.
Description: Type anything useful in this field.
Hit Save.
Once you have successfully created a new inspection, you will see it appear in the Inspections List.
You can enter the inspection by clicking on the inspection's type. This will open your iTwin into the Inspections' viewer, allowing you to start inspecting your asset.
By clicking on the menu icon at the end of the inspection row, you can perform the following actions:
Details - click on Details to see the details of the inspection.
Edit - Click on Edit to edit the inspection.
Delete - Click on Delete to delete the inspection.
Inspect - Click on Inspect to launch the Inspection Mode view and start the inspection.
Close - Click on Close to close the inspection. Once an inspection is closed, it can be reopened by clicking again on the Menu button and select "Reopen".
Export CSV - Click on Export CSV to export the report to the CSV format. For more information about this option, access the "Create CSV Export for Inspection" section.
