The Model Input Listing in Microsoft Word Technology Preview enables users to define custom reports and sub-reports that contain an output listing of the system geometry and properties, including a summary page and tables for pipe elements, beams, points, material, and load data, which is then exported to a Microsoft Word file that can be used to view, save, and/or print the report
The following are the limitations associated with this Technology Preview.
Only input listing reports are exported.
Soil Properties, Load Summary, and Extended Component input listing reports are not exported.
Users should select all options on the input listing and output reports to ensure all inputs and outputs are exported.
A fixed (read-only) set of templates is installed with the program for demonstration.
The order of the input listings reports is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
The Table of Contents within the Microsoft Word export file is not automatically updated. Users will be required to perform a manual update.
1. Select Tools > Model Input Listing in MS Word [Technology Preview] to display the Model Input List Report dialog.
2. Enabling each sub-report checkbox creates a separate section within the report. The report can be limited to selected (highlighted) points. After selecting the report options and the types of sub-reports to include in the model input list report, press OK to generate the report and display the input data reports in Microsoft Word.
NOTE: The image of the model found on the Cover Page is generated automatically.
3. To update the Table of Contents, place your cursor within the Table of Contents heading.
4. Press Update Table.
The tables within the report are automatically rendered in a portrait or landscape orientation to maximize readability.
