Notes:
1. The results displayed in the Forces and Moments report come from the Non-code Combinations tab of the Load Combination dialog box.
2. The forces and moments of single load case ‘components’ during load sequencing is a delta force between the previous load case applied and the current load case being applied.
Comments, Questions, and Answers about AutoPIPE's Forces & Moments Output report :
Item #1: Results about an Anchor node point
Item #2: Flange weight changes results
Item #3: Summation about a TEE
Item #4:
Are forces and stresses calculated independently in AutoPIPE or first it calculates forces and then use area to get stresses. If possible could you list the steps in which AutoPIPE performs the analysis and calculates the forces and stresses.
Answer:
Forces are calculated from displacements and then stresses from forces
Item #5: Both (+)ve and (-)ve at the same point
Item #6: Gravity + Thermal + User load cases added together
Item #7: Add combinations to the Forces and Moment's report
Item #8: Global or local Coordinate system
Item 09: Extract axial force in the pipe steel
