I am getting a warning in my analysis output as shown next
*WARNING* CONTROL/DEPENDENT EQUATIONS ARE NOT PROPERLY CONSIDERED IN A TIME/STEADY SOLUTION.
What does that mean ?
This warning is reported whenever a model contains a time history or steady state analysis, and also utilizes control/dependent equations in some way, for example by including the Control/Dependent specification shown below:
Or, by including Floor Diaphragms:
Such instances can produce dynamic results that are incorrect, and typically result in the following being reported to warn to notify the user:
*** WARNING:
Partial Results for Eigenvalue Analysis Found
As such, whenever a model contains a time history or steady state analysis, any control/dependent or floor diaphragm commands must be deleted.
